Privacy Policy
This policy covers the games and websites published by Loud Pigeon, including Match Inside, Spooky Tiles and Tile Picnic. We have tried to keep it short and accurate.
The short version
We do not ask for your name, email, or any account. Spooky Tiles and Tile Picnic send limited gameplay measurements to our own event collector unless you disable them. We do not sell this data.
Optional game notifications
If you choose notifications, we save your browser's push subscription endpoint and encryption keys, a hashed management token, and consent/update timestamps in our first-party database. These allow us to notify this browser about new levels without your name or email. Remove the subscription in the game's Help settings, or block notifications in browser settings. Blocking in browser settings prevents delivery but does not itself delete our saved record.
With gameplay statistics enabled, we also measure notification invitations, choices, errors, and successful subscriptions. Turning off gameplay statistics does not cancel a notification subscription. We are currently collecting opt-ins; no automated messaging campaign is running.
Information stored on your device
Our games save your progress locally on your own device using browser local storage or the equivalent app storage. This includes:
- Which levels you have completed, and your best times and move counts
- Whether you have seen the tutorial
- Your sound and reduced-motion settings
- Story progress and in-game coins
- Your answer to the optional end-of-game survey question
Your saved game stays on your device. Limited gameplay outcomes from Spooky Tiles and Tile Picnic are also measured as described below. Clearing your browser data, or uninstalling the app, deletes your saved game permanently.
Spooky Tiles and Tile Picnic gameplay measurements
We measure visits, level starts and outcomes, retries, assistance use and use of the share button. Events include the game edition, level, move count, peak tray occupancy and earned stars. A random identifier groups events within a browser tab session; it is not an account or a persistent player profile. We distinguish visits from player-shared links from other visits.
The collector does not store names, contacts, IP addresses, user-agent strings or full referring URLs. Our hosting provider processes network requests and may keep operational access logs. Gameplay events are stored using Cloudflare D1 for us to review and improve the game.
You can disable gameplay measurements in Help and settings. We also respect your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Disabling measurement stops future events; it does not affect gameplay. Sharing is optional and uses your device's sharing app or clipboard. We do not receive your recipient list or know whether a copied result was sent.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment details. Our games do not require an account and do not have a login.
Children
Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change what data is handled, we will update this page and revise the date above before those features become available to players.
